On behalf of the Jones Academy PTA, I would like to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year! Jones Academy includes an awesome community of active parents, teachers, and staff focused on building a thriving educational environment for our children.

Our objectives:

• to promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, places of worship, and throughout the community

• to raise the standards of home life

• to advocate for laws that further the education, physical and mental health, welfare, and safety of children and youth

• to promote the collaboration and engagement of families and educators in the education of children and youth

• to engage the public in united efforts to secure the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, and social well-being of all children and youth

• to advocate for fiscal responsibility regarding public tax dollars in public education funding

We are excited about the upcoming year and look forward to come out of the pandemic with engaging events and activities. We would love for you to join us and be an active part of the school community!

You can do this by:

• Joining the PTA – the more members we have, the bigger our voice! 

• Volunteering – we have several ways you can support Jones Academy.

• Shopping – our Spirit Store (and others) allow you to donate and show pride for your school.

Nuestros objetivos:

Additionally, the district requires all volunteers to submit a new online application every year with AISD.
